North Carolina Wesleyan Soccer Camps
Ryan Huber enters his fifth season as assistant coach with the Battling Bishop men’s soccer program. He came to Wesleyan from nearby Louisburg College where he helped the Hurricanes to a 26-15-1 record over two seasons, including a national semifinal appearance and #4 ranking in 2009.
The 2011 season, his first with the Bishops, saw NCWC go 7-5-7 overall and earn runner-up finishes in the USA South Regular Season and Tournament Championships. Huber helped coach nine players to All-Conference accolades that season, while six Bishops garnered Academic All-Conference recognition. Most recently in 2014, the Durham, N.C. native enjoyed his best season with the program, helping the Bishops secure a 13-6-1 overall record and a USA South Tournament semifinal appearance.
A 2008 graduate of Guilford College, Huber earned his B.S. degree in Sport Management and served as an assistant coach with the Quakers for one season. In May of 2014, he received his Master of Science in Sport Management and Administration from Liberty University.
Huber holds an NSCAA Advanced National and Regional Coaching Certificates, as well as an NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 Coaching Certificate. In addition to his coaching duties, he assists with NCWC's Gameday Management needs, while also serving as Assistant Director of Coaching at TRYSA (Tar River Youth Soccer Association).
Huber and his wife, Katie, reside in Rocky Mount.
